Angelica Hankins is an art critic based in Washington, D.C. Her writing has appeared in Artforum, Humanities, and Smithsonian magazine. In 2023, she won a Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Award, placing first in the writer’s portfolio category.
Hankins holds a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated with honors. She is currently associate editor of Humanities, the quarterly magazine of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
